uninstall the old one,check all sub folders that it may leave behind,run a reg cleaner and look for any thing that's left of it an wipe.
go to Dazzle Platinum web site or try and find a demo/trail verson latest one install that try it out and if it works ok add the serial to it that came with the retail one you brought
