It's quite simple. The timing is however critical, both the Bomb planting and death have to be at the exact same time. I've got it down decently, and wouldn't mine demonstrating it. Rarely I let myself get killed on one-bomb simply to see people's reaction to the glitched bomb.

There is an issue with it though. It seems that it's picky about whether the detonation will have an effect on the score. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I'd say my experience is about 70% to the plus side.
