Hey guys:

As you all know the site was down for the past day and a half. The reason was Vbulletin does not have their shit together and contacted our host and told them the site was not licensed when it was infact. It's not back up and this headache is over after several calls to our host, calls to Vbulletin and emails, etc.

So I had to call up our host who then told me to call Vbulletin. Then I had to email Vbulletin and gave them the contact info for our host's abuse department. They did not provide an email for the abuse department on the site, only a phone number. So I emailed Vbulletin the phone number and they refused to call, he said he would only email our host.... talk about lazy. So I finally called up our host and asked them what the email address was for the abuse department and then emailed that to Vbulletin and he finally emailed our host.

Now I also found out that our host only has one person working in the abuse department (Coltz it's time to change hosts or let me host) and she left early or does not check her emails often because she would have received the email around 1:30pm EST leaving her hours to take care of a 5 minute issue and if she was on they are on MST which is two hours behind so it would have been about 11:30am MST. I called them back up at about 10:30pm EST and said what is going on, why isn't it back up. Oh she left for the day but she'll be in at 7:00am and I will leave a note for her to take care of it right away. Well this morning rolled around, checked the domain and it was still down. I had to call in to a sales person and have him look up the Vbulletin ticket for me and verify and then take care of the problem and put the site back online. So much for their Abuse deparment (One lady). I'm very unhappy with the host we are using and it wasn't my choice either so don't look at me

Yeah, sounds like a lot of trouble. I'm just glad it's back up!! Lol I was so bored yesterday!!

You should get www.hostgator.com . Its a very fast shared hosting server with NO down time.I been with them for over 5 months now and still no problems.

I have a hosting account too that I'm barely using, maybe eventually I will just host the site.... we'll see. Right now Coltz is using HostMonster to host. Either way, we are here to stay ;)

i was afraid u got shut down by resistance.net for all the cheats but then i figured it would just be sumthing stupid like last time

godaddy is mainly for domain purchases, lol. The reason there is only one person in the abuse department is because hostmonster is owned by bluehost, and hostmonster isn't very big, so they only need one person there.
