I bought this game 2 days ago, and my internet was down for those two days so I was just doing single player. Now my PS3 is doing the update (v. 1.10) for the game. I was just wondering what game modes there are, or is there just one called 'Gold Rush'? Also, are the maps good for sniping, or are the maps quite crowded...? And whether this game is also better than COD4 or about the same (vote in poll above)?

which the maps are MASSIVE...probs the largest multiplayer maps for the PS3 .

theres also the tradtional conquest...maps are a little smaller...but still large.

as for the crowdedness....i doubt it..really...:)

actually maps are bigger in conquest, it just may seem smaller cause u can move anywhere, but its bigger

Nope. There's freezing, mics dont work, cant choose squads, no clan support or private rooms, and massive teamkilling. Amazingly, its still an pretty fun game. But, COD4 was much better. In fact, COD4 would still be better if BF didnt have those major issues.
