No-Scope Methodology.
I was going to post this in the techniques post but its worth more then a simple g shot or sweep shot.
This takes the concept of these 2 and breaks it down to one key moment in both shots. N.B. this only works on the other team. will not work on your own team. First off lets examine the G-shot. strafe side to side and shoot wen the crosshair is resetting. Good concept but missed the real reason the bullets hit.
Swing shot. Aim at the opponent and sweep the analogue stick to a side. Found cause it works ok but also missess the point WHY it works.
Now for the answers. the game works with a system to project the bullet. Normally there are only 2 variables to decide where the shot will land. The aim position and the random angle it will project at.
N.B. Steady aim decreases the widthe or the projection angle. Imagine a cone and a smaller 1 inside it. Now the g-shot works because of 2 factors being added to this equation. A RESET of the position of the aim thus reducing the projection angle and 1 more reason ill come on to in a minuet.
This is a little like the sweep shot but instead of resetting the position it leaves it in the same place projection the bullet to the previous location and also the other reason.
The fact I have kept secret in this mammoth essay is the reason that no-scopes work is because of the auto-aim feature installed in the game.
We tested all the techniques and then put a dot on the screen to aid with longer range auto-aiming. we found that you dont have to do any tricks to no-scope you just need to use the auto-aim feature.
If you are looking for the drag you get you can feel it when your playing. It may b a pain to get the grip of but once you realise what you are looking for then you can see when the game resets the aim for you.
Oh just one more thing. We tried this with and without steady aim and only noticed a diference at longer ranges which leads us to believe that steady aim doesnt increase the accuracy of hip fire but increases the ammount of auto-aim you can 'grab' from othe players.
Post here when you have tried it. The easiest way if to go on split screen and stand one player still and just try to feel the aim then go online and try moving targets. Im stil trying to get better at this but maybe this could inspire a perfect 100% no-scope trick that will always hit. Post your findings.
