On Call of Duty 4, what is the best sniper rifle and what perks would use to go with it?

I like the .50 Cal with Stopping power. 1 bullet, 1 kill.

m40, stopping power, steady aim
depending on the map I use it sometimes with an ACOG

M40A3 with Stopping Power and Steady Aim :D

i use r700 w/ acog, bandolier stoppin power steady aim. i use r700 instead of m40 cos i like the extra damage. the less bullets doesnt bother me

dragunov suks and r700 has ad recoil imo

i aint bovvered about the recoil
