WTF?


so i just hooked up my PS3 this morning at my house got the internet all set, it was at my friends house i was staying over..... and now when i try to connect to the online portion of the game right before it should show my rank and my name it pops up as

"Unable to connect to Activision Matchmaking (Error 33)
What did i do wrong???
I'm I missing something important or crucial????
Any help would be nice.

hey shadz hunter i would check your connection because i just tried to get into BFBC and it wouldnt work either same with warhawk and UT3 so im going to reset my internet and get back to you id try a wired connection might help too.

I have the same problem. When i try with another account it works, and a friend has just told me he is playing it right now. So it doesnt effect everyone.

well i tried to reset my network and that didnt do anything it must be something wrong with psn just a guess only because every other game i own isnt working online so....i dont really know whats up

but how did u get your other account to work all my freinds cant get on and ive tried everyone of my other profiles nothing seems to work can anyone try a wired connection to see if that helps???

Yeah it could be psn issue, as I can get in with another account. Still a pain in the a$$ none the less.

this is starting to really piss me off i cant seem to do anything i feel left out sony better hurry up and fix this

ok so it is a psn problem im on there website it says everything is fine but there forums are going berserk with people and posts plus i tried the psn store and i get another error....

"An error has occurred
(80023017)"

i should have gotten an xbox......nah even with teh network down the ps3 is still better

We've had word that the PSN downtime (starting in 15 minutes) is purely for behind the scenes maintenance work and is nothing to do with Firmware 2.40. During the 5 hour downtime you won't be able to sign into PSN, register or manage your account, and should you live outside of Europe, you won't be able to buy anything on the Store (hurhur).

However, if you log in now before the shutdown you'll still be able to stay connected and play online. Hurry! See you on the other side.
