Need Sound Help

Ok I left my computer on last night but when I went on this morning it had no sound. I have A HP w1907 and Vista software. I went into my sound stuff and it says "No aduio devices are installed" so do I need to reinstal it? If so where would I get the download.

Go to HP website and download sound driver for your computer happens to my dell all the time!

Ok Im not sure if I have Vista or Vista 64 Bit......... yea how would I chec that? I need to know to download

That info should show up in the properties of the computer right click on deskop then properties then specs for somethin like that should be in there.

Hmmm when I right click theres only Veiw, Sort By, Refresh, Paste, Paste Shortcut NVIDIA Control Panel, New, and Personalize

Sorry yeah I forgot you were using vista it will be somewhere in the control panel.

-_- I downloadd it but it still doesnt work many other ideas? I got it from here Realtek High Definition Audio Driver Update****HP Pavilion a6200n Desktop PC I think thats the right thing but I might be wrong....

Yeah I think that mite be it if that doesn't fix it then all i can suggest is that you re-install vista.

Where would I get that from? I dont have a disk or anything it came on comp....... and also I wouldnt have to backup my data right? Vista is just the op-system......

Hmmm now it says No Audio Output Device is Installed

Yeah on my dell the install file in located on the hd and to re-install you dont need a disk you could try using a program like wipe disc to clear the harddrive and try again.

If I was you though I would keep trying different sound drivers from hp site to see if they work sorry i couldn't be any more help.
