Ok. This is my question. I want to remove windows on my computer in my room. I do NOT WANT windows on it. is there a way i can remove windows and just install Fedora 9 linuxs. IF someon can help me Out i would take all the help i can

Don't do that.

Instead, download Fedora 9, and burn it to the live CD. Then, restart you PC and put the disc inside. It will automatically run, and you can choose where you want to install the OS. Instead of using another partition, pick the section that is being used by Xp/Vista. Then carry on with installation and you should be fine.

i have a downloaded torrent that needs to be burned onto a disk, how do i do it?

Burn it as a data file. It should be FILENAME.iso. Basically, open Nero or something like that, and burn the file onto a CD as a data file.

By the way, if it was a form of Linux you downloaded, it is actually free and there is no need to get it through a torrent. (Unless it was a legit link :P)
