The funniest thing is, when Heath was first cast as the joker there was proabably one huge collective Wtf how can the brokeback aussie play the joker, comparisons to J.Nicholas's preformance were made and many seriously doubted that Ledger would top that. Lo and behold Heath Ledger's Joker stands as one of the best examples of acting ever caught on film. R.I.P to that great man, but let us not for get Depp's uncanny ability to make a role truely his and Hoffman is a bonafide thespian. The only thing that would have made this movie suck is if they chose a 2 bit actor to replace the late great L.H.

Any other adaptaion will have to be something VERY VERY spectacular. It's not Just Heath Ledgers acting that made that film, everything about it from SFX, to the storyline. Batman and The Joker are the most famous combo in the history of Batman and this Killing Joke adaptation is spot on aand how it should be. The Riddler (was Sh*t), The Penguin (any need really) they need The Joker & Harley Quinn's story,they need to film the Joker and Harley's relationship blossoming in the Asylum. that'd be soooooooooo good.

The Dark Knight was not a good film in my own opinion, Heath Ledger's acting in it was not as good as people made him out to be, there was just all the phenomanon about it since he died before the film was released, honestly if you have seen a really good film, you would know that the acting in this film was not up to the standard, and I beleive that Jack Nickelson played the joker better than Heath

I voted that it will. Though the Dark Knight was a great movie I think if they have the same director and same actors as in the Dark Knight this could be a great and better movie than the Dark Knight.
