Speed up Mozilla Firefox about 3-30x Faster!!!

If your a firefox lover like me then you should try this.

1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll
down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time.
When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really
speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This
means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

If you're using a broadband connection you'll load pages 2-30 times faster now.

Well, im having some issues with the new mac i just bought. but i shouldnt say new... i Bought it at a Pawn shop. Because it looked really nice. So i dont use my MLTI issued one from school at home unless i have homework. but i have a Dillema. when i went to download something to my new MacBook. The password thingy for admin popped up...... i didn't know what to type. i tried everything i could think of... i braught it back to the pawnshop and the owner didnt know what to tell me. he said i could return it... but i would only get back 200$ for it. so i kept it. i also tried going to GeekSquad and tried an Apple Store, but they only said that i would have to go out and buy a new software disk... Mac OS X 10.5.7 i dont want to waste my money on it though if there is something else i can do.

I went into Terminal and typed these few commands i knew

mount -uw/
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
Shutdown -h now

but that didnt work..

i even tried doing the Apple "s" thing but it wont go into that place of the terminal to make a new admin acocunt.

anything you guys can help me with?
