Rep?

Why are some of the people that rep me points blueish and the others are green. I've been reped 5 times but only 3 are green.

I don't know. Maybe they have low reputation themselves, so they can't give as much.

idk what you mean beau it says 3 people have rep me and says one rep power...so if someone like you rep me i would get rep power 2 or not?

No what I'm saying is this:

If the person who reps you has low reputation themselves, then you won't recieve as much. That's how I assume it works anyway.

If the person who rep you has 0 rep power then you recieve 0 points.

If I were to rep you, you would get 10 points because my rep power is 10.

so finally, if 100 ppl gave you rep, but all there rep power was 0, you would get 0 points

oh ok bravo thanks alot for the help. so if i'm correct than it's pointless for someone with rep power of 0 to rep you then.

yeah since you and me both have one rep power if i rep you you get 1 same with you repping me

My question is how the levels upon the rep power is based. I have around 50 rep points but my rep power is still level one. Sorry again for using you as an example Beau but, he has around 70 rep points and he is level 5. Why are the levels off so much?
