What happens if you delete your Game Data Utility (not your game save)?

Depending on what games you've got it will do a few things.

1.If you have NEVER downloaded a patch or map pack or add-on, then nothing will happen.
2. If you HAVE, then you will not be able to access them.

Eg. I download the map packs and patch for R:FOM. I delete all R:FOM for my game data utility. I won't be able to play online now because I don't have the patch.

So if you delete the GDU after you have downloaded a patch from CoD4, you won't be able to play it again?

You'll just have to download the patch again to play online.

my ps3 is stupid, you know when you first buy a game, you have to install the program, if i delete the game data and save data, you would think i would have to install it all again but for some reason when i come to play it again it starts straight away, so there isn't any reinstalling to do. everything was deleted from ps3
