By simply observing the currently available cheats, I have created a simple 1000 code possiblity index.

Here are the current known possibilities: (Replace ?? with 00-99)

1) 227-555-01??
2) 267-555-01??
3) 359-555-01??
4) 362-555-01??
5) 468-555-01??
6) 482-555-01??
7) 486-555-01??
8) 625-555-01??
9) 938-555-01??
10) 948-555-01??

This is a working list as all known cheats rely on the constant of 555-01 with several repeating the base numbers 227, 267, 359, 362, 468, 482, 486, 625, 938, and 948.

It is also suggested to have a backup, non-auto-save file for testing purposes. Please note that previous GTA games did not have a notification as to whether certain cheats had been activated. To correct this on IV, simply view your General Statistics section entitled Times Cheated after every 20 codes to narrow your seaches.

Hope this helps everyone crack a new code without actually having to test all 10,000,000,000 possibilities. Also, please post your findings to the forum if possible; you will be credited.

If you complete a section with no findings please post that information on this thread as well, it will help to mark-off and narrow the search.

lol, there where cheats for SA that took over a year to find.. I somewhat doubt the cheats we have already are the only ones available; but its plausable.

Side Note:

Is anyone working on a decryption program for IV yet, I'm finding it relatively difficult because of all the alt commands used in the main dat files. "This is a quote from a friend of mine and would prove quite useful if any information is available."
