I can't really compare each other since I only played San Andreas for a little bit but I would have to say GTA4 is better with having online and real driving physics. I thought the story line for GTA4 was great but that's just my two cense.

dude, thats not wasted. Thats what made GTA SA so good. There was a huge variety of everything. Whether you wanted to be in the ghetto, fancy citys, vegas, out in the country, or out in the desert. There was all types of scenery for everything.

Then why do you have the 'GTA4' thing in your avatar?

i no since gta 3 all the missions were cake becides for about one in every 40

GTA 4 whoops San Andreas's ass anyday man.
Allow me to create a checklist, Ahem -
- GTA4 has an amazingly more amount of detail to the gameplay area, with no wasted space
- GTA4 has the multiplayer modes available on all of its platforms, while San Andreas only has Multi Theft Auto of the PC version (which, in my opinion, is the best part about SA)
- GTA4 has a much more wider range of vehicles (though no planes were a dissapointment)
- The weapon system was thoroughly reworked for the better
- Much more realistic explosion graphics give the game a eye-popping effect
- And my personal favorite, the new look of the infernus ^^
