I just did a 1 on 1 race online with a friend with an infernous which my friend was driving and the Sultan RS me.
The sultan RS won by about a car length and so that makes it the fastest car in GTA 4.

I was wondering if anybody could tell me where i could find a sultan in single player that would be great thanks.

If your in the airport and racing, go on the grass. You go a lot faster at high speed.

Sultan RS is not the fastest car in GTA 4.
Loads of the supercars can easily go faster than the Sultan RS.
Its hard to tell which car is the fastest though, as the infernus and the comet are relitively the same, but the comet has better stearing.

Name another car that is faster than the Sultan

I say super gt or turismo are beast but ya sultan great aswell

infernus is def the fastest... but my choice would be the comet. (handle better).
except when i use infernus' i like to do lil maneuvers lol like punchin it in reverse and whippin into drive. vlg831 knows how sick i am at driving those things

The Infernus is the fastest in a straight line for sure, its steering isnt as good as the othernsuper cars though

Actually I think the fatest car in the game is the Porche type car...not sure what it's called in the land of GTA...but I'm more than sure thats the one. I constantly race with another friend in party mode and we always grab the two porches located there (one parked in the street and the other under the bridge at the beach) Everytime I wreck my car driving and try to get a new one (I.E Infernus, Super GT) we line up again and he smokes me. It handles better than a lot of the cars and still goes just as fast...which would make it the fatest cause yea, you could probably beat someone on a straight away...but how many straight aways can you hit on one block? Not many. Its all based on steering, not just speed. Cause in any race, someone with a fast car can get a good lead but whats the use of speed if you can't handle it or swerve out of the way of oncoming traffic?
