Ok so i just beat deceptation and was wondering since the ending left the game hanging which game is next in the series following this story, armageddon or shaolin monks?

shaolin monks is next but they both don't follow up on the story

shaolin monks is just a kinda side game like jax's special forces and sub zero's game. armageddon is the next in line
