Like, have you ever thought about playing on the Pal or Jpn server while your in the USa,
I was wondering if that can be done. Like Getting on a different server while I'm in Usa, it'll be fun to see how other players play from around the world.
So if you have any Idea of how to do that will you please share it with me.

you need a PAL Jap console with that game then just sing on...Only way i know how to do it.

I don't think you need to change your consol, I can back-up games with ease and play em. I'm just wondering If I can log on to there servers like that.

You just need a PAL game, but you also need a central station account to log into there server

.22cali had post on it back in the day, if someone could find that lol.. he tore it up back when he was seeing how hard it was to cheat on PAL, since HeXiFy was bragging to be the only cheater over there after the v0002 patch first came out.

hard to cheat on PAL ps2? LMFAO you should see it, i'm in australia and i play socom with unbelieveable cheats, it is way easier than NTSC(US) server, and we dont get scans xD....

LAWL yea now it's easy, not back then when the 1st patch came out, very few people knew anything about how to make codes or dump a game after a patch.

sadly, only very few do on this server...

I don't know if all games are this way, but on socom you need to change your console ID to one that matches the region you are trying to play in. Pretty sure you can only do that on v9 and earlier consoles too.
