How to play on pal servers with a NTSC Ps2
ive seen many people wondering about this so here it is i dont know if freddy gets credit or not but w/e ive seen this b4
Tutorial written by: Freddyftbll first off download this-ull need utorrent or limewire witch i think supports torrents SOCOM.US.Navy.Seals.Combined.Assault.PAL.MULTi5.PS 2DVD | isoHunt - the BitTorrent and P2P search engine once it is done downloading, open the rar,,make a copy of the iso,and patch the iso with windip You can find a disc id on the net or try to fill in this one xx xx 01 40 34,the x's need replaced with values, there is also a disc id checker you can use to make sure the values are legit. After you patch it with windip, burn it with magic iso or similar program.Label disc pal1. K now download ntsconverter ,it is a dos based program but comes with a read me text to explain how it works. Using magiciso,or similar program, convert the original iso to a bin file, run the bin file through ntsconv program, use magiciso to convert back to iso, patch the iso again with windip same id as before, burn and label pal 2. K ,now u can use cogswap or whatever u use to swap in backups,I use swapmagiccoder.elf cuz you can use codes on the backups,in which case you have to refresh the sm table of contents by opening the disc tray and putting in say your real socom ca. But when you swap, you put the pal2 disc in hit boot disc,or in cogswaps case hit x on the purple disc, and WHEN IT GETS TO THE MEMORY CARD SCREEN BUT BEFORE THE SOCOM CA LOGO,swap in the pal1 disc, while spinning,so you need a fliptop/no top.And it'll boot up,go online and cheat! |

Booting an NTSC game then hotswapping to the PAL copy is not going to work, if you do everything right you should never have to do that. You don't need to use the ntsconverter if you can make your own screen fix codes. And you still need to change your console ID to the correct region type.
