Project Artemis - PS2 hacking system in development
For some time now, GSHI and select members of the scene have been working, in secret, on something tentatively called Project Artemis: a PS2 hacking system. Details, and the original thread, can be found here: http://gshi.org/vb/showthread.php?t=3153
Apologies to NGB staff if this seems too advertisement...ish. I will, of course, submit to whatever forum rules there are in place, if I've broken any. Anyway, feel free to drop by :) Last edited by Lazy Bastard; 08-13-2008 at 12:36 PM.. |

Kind of bumping an old post but im generally excited about this. I know hacking is dead on ps2 but it could still prove to be pretty fun. i've always wanted a tool like this back in the day but no one ever jumped on to release one (i've heard cYs Driver and CM Team both had one but kept it to themselves for their own reasons) Good luck. Hope you guys pull it all together.

cYs Driver created a cheat tool, but not a hacking system. He's part of Project Artemis, by the way :)
A couple of the members of Team CMP do have serial cables soldered onto their PS2s, which makes it quite easy to directly access memory (the PS2SDK SIOSHELL library already lays out most of the major functions of a memory dumping program), but there's still no way to hack an unmodified PS2. Pyriel of CMP is also a member of Project Artemis, heh. Anyway, if you're interested in the project, come show your support. We could always use more ideas, suggestions, requests, and such, and the more people that post at GSHI concerning the project, the more motivated we'll be to work on it.
