What CodeMajic is
- CodeMajic is basically a program made to get online with codes on any playstation 2 game

**Requirements**

A flash drive.

-A cheating device, such as codebreaker 9.0, many others you could use though.

-A memory card, along with a PS2, obviously :p.

-A PS1 disc, almost all work.

-A Router, allowing you to gain connection on your PS2 and your computer at the same time, so you must have atleast two ethernet cables.

**Tutorial**

First off, we must obtain codemajic, so let's start off by going to www.codemajic.com,

Once your their, the screen should look like that above, click that link then click the next link to download the program.

As seen above, press "Open", then extract the program when its done downloading to a selected folder on your computer, you must remember the place that you selected.

Upon extracting the program and contents to a desired folder on your computer, please go to the location and open the folder with the codemajic stored in it. Inside that folder, these contents/files, should be present.

Once their, and that you check to see all those files are within the folder; (if not please re-download or contact me via this forum or aim) Then get your Flash Drive and plug it into your computer, in the usb port, which should be located at the front or back of it. Once it is plugged in it should connect to your computer and usually brings up the selected folder for the Drive which you can store programs into it, if not you can do this; Click Start > My Computer > F Drive.
Once opened, drag the CM.cbs file into the F Drive folder, or if it isnt located under that name, then msg me and i'll help you locate it.

As shown above, and stated above, drag that program into your F Drive, then remove your Flash Drive from your computer.

Once your Flash drive is removed from your computer, plug it into the usb port on your PS2, located in the front, known as where you plug your mic/keyboard in.

Once it is plugged in, you must insert a cheating device into your ps2, the one which we will be using in this tutorial is codebreaker 9.0.
"You can use any other cheative device of choice, but the basic steps are to locate the option Device Manager on your cheating device and find the flash drive, the rest of the tutorial should be the same for what ever your using."

Once this disc has fully loaded on your ps2, and you see the menu, which should say, Start Game - Select Cheats - Device Manager - CodeBreaker Chat - Options - Day 1, you should use the D-Pad to go down twice to Device Manager, once this option is highlighted, you should press (X) on this option, once this is performed you should see a new menu, showing, Memory Card 1 - Memory Card 2 - Flash Drive - A Globe, representing SOURCE Device - and a hard drive.
Use the D-Pad to go over to the right twice, and the Flash Drive should be highlighted, once it is, press (X) on it.
Once you have entered your flash drive, it should show the program, highlight this program, then press (X) on it, and the option on the bottom should say, "Press (/\) for action menu" press (/\) at this point and time, once clicked a selection action menu panel should pop up.
Once this menu is popped up, go down to "compress" and compress this file to your memory card.

You have now succesfully compressed the Codemajic file (CM.cbs) onto your memory card, once this has been finished, take out your Codebreaker - or any other cheating device you have decided to use out of your PS2, and insert the PS1 disc of choice you have obtained into your PS2, and restart the console.

Once this has been done, your PS2 should load up and show a white screen, saying in the two options within the square panel box, O: FileBrowser, SELECT: Configure, Press O > then O once again on mc0:/, then a new menu should pop up, within this menu you should see the files called BADATA-SYSTEM/, BASCUS-97474SOCOM3P/, BASCUS-97545SOCOMCP/, BWNETCNF/, and CBDM/, to move and highlight the different files you must use your D-Pad, so go down once, so you are highlighting the file BADATA-SYSTEM/, press O on this file.
Once you have pressed O, you will see a new menu, showing many different files/programs, you are only going to be using CodeMajicExpress.elf on this list, so go down to that and once it is highlighted, press O.
A new screen should load, showing CODEMAJIC across the top, and showing PS2 ip Address: ***.***.***.***, it should show your Ps2's ip if you are connected to the internet correctly with your router. If you are having problems and not recieving an ip, please contact me via aim, or private messaging.
Do not reset, or turn off your ps2 in any way. Once you see this ip, you will then continue with the other steps to using codemajic, which are as follows. First go back to your folder which contains the Codemajic contents, this time we will be using CodeMajic Manager.

As shown above, double click that program to open, and it should look like this.

In the above field, saying Ip Address, put the ip of which it says on your Ps2, into that field, then hit Connect, on the codemajic manager, it should now say on your ps2 on that screen, PC Command, meaning it is connected, ps2-computer, you can now insert the codes into the box below, such as this.

You must have a line/space between each code entered into the box, once these codes are within the field and you are ready and have the selected codes you wish to go online with, you must then hit Send, at the bottom of the box, it will then show a pop up box saying Codes Accepted, after the codes are accepted, you then can open your disc tray and insert your PS2 Disc, in this tutorial we will be using CA, so continue to enter CA into the disc tray and close, wait around 8-15 seconds then hit "Start Game!" on the Codemajic Manager.
This will load up the game normally, and you can login and start to use codes. You are now succesfully using codes online with CodeMajic!

**WARNING** **WARNING**

You must use jokered codes online, and only have jokered on during a map, you CANNOT have them jokered on while in menu of game or lobby, you will be BANNED, so remember you must use jokered codes and joker off before leaving/finishing game.

I will be adding more detailed instructions on areas that are causing members the most struggle and photos from my digital camera of each step regarding the PS2 area of getting file on your memory card.

A. You most likely dont have .NET, the new version, you can download this at www.microsoft.com
