MIPS cammand question

i never really learned how to use some cammands, can anyone tell me how to set up a ADDIU.....cause i dont know how to set it up, and what about save quadword? how does that work,i know how to use regular sw and lw, but sq idk about, does it save the data from the register i assign and save it to an address and 3 lines under it?

What do you mean "set up a addiu" does it not just add and store? If you mean hold the least significant 16 bits of a 32 bit value, you'd just have it add the immediate to $s with the same register as $t at a upper 16 bit lui that's lower in memory..

and yeah sq stores $t at the 128 bit offset..

even though that ^ is not a very proper way to put it, I'm sure you could find more detail on that with google..
