My friend was just about to become an elite when he had to go. He stayed a few seconds longer and ranked up. He then turned off his xbox after about 10 seconds of bragging.

But when he turned it back on and went to change his camo to custom, he saw that he had none of the camos unlocked and wasn't an elite???

Does anybody have an idea of what happened? He is very pissed of because he has to do it all again!!!

I get XP to a point i want it at like 10,000
make sure it saved and when i get back on i lost like 2000 points, its been happening to me for a while and im playing on PS3 offline

I heard some people talking about this earlier.
In the game lobby, a guy was saying how his rank got reset after switching off.

dont put ur ps3 or 360 off
let them save the game save
if u dont save u lose the points you earn that match

But he went all the way from elite to the first rank.

He did boost quite a bit.

perhaps Ubi will start reseting the ranks of those who they know who cheated

could have corrupted data, could have been a server error, could have been ubi. I dunno
