get ur boost xp back after the ps3 update
first go to ur Games section then go to Game Data Utility then delete Rainbow 6 vegas 2 then when it asks u to download the patch press O and it will skip then
ur back in business. DONT DELETE UR RAINBOW VEGAS 2 FILE FROM SAVED DATA UTILITY DELETE IT FROM THE GAME DATA UTILITY SECTION

if u want to play online u have to update the patch and it wont work follow this steps again it it will work again

It's kind of hard to understand, but I know what you're saying.

1. Delete the Patch (for 360)
2. Do the Rank up glitch in single player that they patched, or so they thought
3. Do the update after ranking up and enjoy =D

Because you deleted the patch, you aren't connected to XBOX Live, meaning they would have no knowledge that you would have done a thing. Yet, I still want to rank legitly, makes rewards that much sweater.

official your right but what he posted is for the ps3 version for people that don't know how to delete patches

Go to memory then press "Y" to go to device management. Then press "X, X LB, RB, X, X". Now press "perform maintenance". Works every time for me :)
