In almost every thread there is someone who says, "No way. I found that before you." There are thousands of people who enjoy glitching this game and chances that you find a glitch that hasn't been done before is slim. Many people just keep them a secret so they don't get patched quickly. Anyone who does a glitch without seeing a video or tutorial has "discovered" a glitch. Many of the posts on here that claim "New glitch at ....." have been done by many people before getting released. Glitch, enjoy it, have fun and stop arguing about ownership. This is a place for glitchers to come together without getting banned, not fight about who was first.

but, it ususally goes, whoever opens their mouth first, gets credit.

like say i found invisibility first, like the first day the game came out, then three months later, you find it, cant wait to tell everyone. so you make a video, then i see it, get pissed off, and say"i found that before you!" <--you cant do that

this applies to real life also, some guy finds a fossil of a dinosaur that no one has ever heard of or seen, then another guy finds the same one a few years later, releases it to a museum, and names it. he opened his mouth first, he gets ownership/claim rights.

I just don't see why people even care if they get credit for finding a glitch. What are they expecting, a cookie?

the comdedian rule- whoever says it on tv first "owns" the joke

the glitching rule- whoever releases it in anyway (picture, writien descrition, video, tutorial)first "owns" it.

But if one person finds a glitch and keeps their mouth closed the nthats their lose.

I agree with this. I mean look at the vikings, they found america way before Columbus did. But because they did not tell anyone, Columbus got credit for discovering america.

It seriously is annoying to read all the bickering over who discovered this glitch or that glitch. Is someone's life really so sad that they're actually worried about credit for a glitch? If it is, then this person should probably log off the computer and get out some more, see some sunshine, find some achievement in the real world to call their own. 'Cause if discovering a glitch is really what you hang your hat on...jeez...I'm sorry.

i disagree with everything i say that if u found the glitch its yours cause you found it. now i respect your opinion dont get me wrong and it makes sense but its not really "owning" it getting credit and gettin credit is good especially if u wanna get into glitch clans and be more valued as a glitcher
