Have a section for Buying/Selling anything (appropiate)

HAve tags like if you want to buy put [WTB] in the title
and selling [WTS]

maybe people can list their ebay listing on here so its easier for us to find.

since it does cost to sell on ebay it would help alot of ppl out

have a requirement you need say 20 non spam posts etc. Be a respected member that way we can assure its all safe.

But if soemone does get scammed, NGB is no way involved.

How would you buy the stuff though. Fly across the world and stuff just to give the person his package. Also how would they pay for it. Their is a big gap there.

personally, id say let people work things out, or use eBay.

Obviously if it's a physical item it would be shipped nobody is going to buy a 500+ dollar plane ticket to give someone they never met something no more than 50 I'm guessing?

If it's a digital item like an account for something, maybe a beta code for some game or sth then it would be digitally delivered but theres always the risk of scam like Matt said so there would have to be rules/guidelines and other precautions like only trusted active member can post in the section or you must have a post count of 100 or sth like that or there would have to be a middle man but still there too much risk and I can see lots of people getting scammed and all anybody will be able to do is ban the guy from the forums.

I would think it would be too much of a hassle to operate and keep track of a section like that. Some forums run them successfully but most have allot of issues

It was done on CG and failed miserably due to scam artists and spam.

Its not a bad idea but dont forget what this is its a next-gen gaming forum and do we need the hassle of selling and buying to this forum? i understand were your coming from but to be fair you said and ill quote "But if soemone does get scammed, NGB is no way involved." NGB will be involed because they should be moderating the section and its to much hassle and could get NGB into some trouble.
Persanly i would have to say no to this idea sorry mate but i dont think it would make the forever growing site better i can just seeing it fall because of this.
