If my ty works fine but i dont have the orignal remote can i still put it on the x box 360 video game channel?

first off, what kind of tv, newer or older?
secondly, if its newer you might be able to switch it directly from the tv itself. if its older, you might have to pull a channel 3 on it.

post back as much info as possible.

After reading this thread on three separate occasions I think I have finally figured out what you're asking. You want to put your tv on the Input Channel(s), but you can't do so because you no long have the original remote. Correct? If so, look on your remote for the "Input" button. It should work the same as your old remote. If there is no Input button, change the channel to the lowest number you can, then hit the down channel button on the TV or remote again. It might change to the input channel. It does on my TV anyway.

If neither of these work you could try to look in the tv's menu.
