question about my pelican wireless adapter?

okay so a couple months ago i got one of those pelican wireless adapters or whatever for my xbox, and recently our router messed up and we had to buy a new one and now my xbox wont connect to the internet, do i need to upload everything again to my computer to make it work or what?
