About 6 months ago, my CD Drive broke. I Just got a new one 3 weeks ago, it came directly from Microsoft... For some reason it takes forever for me to get a game running. Sometimes my disk won't spin in the tray, and it takes awhile. To tell if the game is working or not, there is this silent roaring noise. Like the 360 just got a energy charge or something... Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas for ways to fix this?

heres a idea and i tested it ok take your case off and lossen the disc spinner trust me it works cause two of my friends had the same problem it is the spinner is too tight and will not spin so you have to loosen it

its the moter in side the drive its probaly a ditrty just clean it

similar ting happened to me but on the ps3 it just doesnt play any games now sux for u to

Actually im dealing with the same problem. My close my drive, it makes a weird noise and the game stops spinning. I have to open and close it several times to get it to work. I'm taking it to get fixed right next to my house this coming week. I just hope I don't have to buy another one but if the fix is going to be anymore than 40 to 60 bucks, fuckall and i'm buying a new system.
