Thinking about flashing my 360
welll i was thinking about flashing my 360 and figured id try to learn as much as i can about it...

few questions up front
yes it voids my microsoft warinty but if i have a best buy warinty think they will know?

where can a i get a sata cable

how do i know if my sata chipset is compatible or something

If i carefully remove my warrinty sticker w/ hair dryer all that can i place it back on with out them knowing, thus not really voiding my warrinty im not so much afraid of the microsoft but my best buy one, seeing as if it breaks i only drive a few miles

what do i do when there is a dashboard update?

can xbl tell if im using a fake?


thanks any additional info would be great

First you need to know what drive you got, so you know weather or not its easy or hard

i have the BENQ VAD6038 DVD drive btw
i was reading up on it myself and actaully found you can fix the flash if it is a bad flash with a dos flash or something so that makes me happy to hear

i actually have edited my questions

yeah i figured there are ways but last time i took it in they didnt check the warranty or anything they just asked what was wrong see what i brought back swapped out the xbox the mic and took off the hard drive took out the cables (only brought in xbox mic and a controller) and actaully paid us because xbox price had dropped so i think i could get away with it easy plus i have a fairly new xbox so i doubt itll break down anytime soon
