you need a hex editor i think...

A mixture of a Hex editor and notepad should suffice.

not really that is good so know one else hacks

they don't block it, if you have the hard drive connected to your comp, but they encrypt it, so if you were to look at it in a hex editor, it would be gibberish

if there was a way to decypt it and re encypt it that could but frist someone might need to find out what they use to encypt the files

look for a program called resigner its what the gamesave boosters use it was leeked ages ago,dont know if it still works thou

i know all about resingers, its what they used to mod halo 3 maps. And many games have been modded on teh xbhox you just dont hear about it much.
